My life’s work is centered around understanding and promoting social justice through research methodologies, formal analysis and my curiosity with the aim of sharing perspectives of othered, minority communities sharing one common virtue of prudence.

Canopy Atlanta Fellow, Community Journalism Fellow, Spring 2025

Participated in a six-week, writing-intensive virtual fellowship focused on community-centered journalism and storytelling.

Dedicated up to 10 hours per week to remote evening journalism training, workshops, independent research, community listening, and writing/reporting.

Collaborated with Canopy Atlanta staff, journalists, and peers to enhance skills in community reporting, narrative development, and ethical storytelling.

Conducted in-depth research and contributed to storytelling projects centered on the Collier Heights community, engaging with current and former residents.
